Introduction

I am the creator/administrator of the Culbert One-Name Study as well as this accompanying WordPress site, both hosted by the Guild of One-Name Studies. In the following sections I am providing narrative information about myself that cannot easily be incorporated into my research database for display on my TNG website.

High Points

I became interested in visiting U.S. state high points after becoming aware of the Highpointers Club. Many state high points were visited by our family during travels throughout the eastern U.S. when we lived there. Since I have never been interested in backpacking in to overnight camps in order to visit the more remote state high points, nor in climbing in ice and snow to visit some of the ones in the western U.S., I have now pretty much completed my visits to the 41 state high points that can be reached in a day.
