John Culbert, b. 1806, Ireland, d. 15 Oct 1887, Biddulph Township, Middlesex County, Ontario, Canada, was one of two known sons of Thomas Culbert and Bridget Tierney. John married Mary Ward in Ireland about 1828, and they emigrated to Canada about 1840. They purchased 100 acres on the Coursey Line in what is now known as the Township of Lucan-Biddulph, Middlesex County, Ontario, Canada.
